Boran Na Ayutthaya, a restaurant and cafe with good drinks and hotel-level food, plus a truly old-town atmosphere because it is decorated in a retro style and the shop is located right across from the Prang of Wat Ratchaburana. With such a good view, when the sun is setting, we invite you to sit and sip drinks, eat, and watch the beautiful sunset behind the Prang of Wat Ratchaburana.
Is this a coffee shop, a restaurant, or a museum? There are many antiques kept here. The shop has recreated a traditional grocery store for visitors to take photos and check in. This shop has a variety of seating areas to choose from, both air-conditioned rooms and open areas. You can lean back or sit on a chair, take beautiful photos while waiting for your drink.
For those who like sweets, you might not be able to resist the dessert zone because it's all about the delicious sweetness of Thai desserts.
Drinks
If it's hot like this, you can choose to drink matcha with fresh milk, blended into a soft cream to relieve the heat. It's very rich for Boran Na Ayutthaya. Or choose a green tea shake, Thai tea shake, or watermelon shake with two large pieces of watermelon. It's delicious and refreshing to relieve the heat on a weekend when you choose to visit the old capital of Thailand like this.
Food
The shop sells food as a set or you can order from the menu. There are main courses to fill you up, not just snacks. Try ordering two menus, steamed pork sausage with chicken stir-fried with cashew nuts, along with hot steamed rice like this.
Steamed Pork Sausage - Served with sweet and sour chili vinegar, like meatball dipping sauce. The pork sausage is bouncy and delicious. It's fun to chew.
For chicken stir-fried with cashew nuts - stir-fried with baby corn, onions, dried chilies, the taste is medium, not too spicy, not too salty. The stir-fried sauce is soupy, delicious to eat with plain rice.
Desserts
A small set of desserts is just right, including Thong Yip, Thong Yod, Foi Thong, and Look Chup. Especially the latter, it is coated with a very thick jelly. Bite the jelly crisply before reaching the sweet and delicious dessert. By the time you finish eating all the menus, it's already early evening. Grab your phone and take a picture of the sunset behind Wat Ratchaburana as a memory of this visit...
