Sour fish curry (I dont know what kind of fish it is, I really cant remember). The fish meat is soft and delicious. Southern chefs add tamarind, which gives a different taste from the sour tamarind curry of the central region. As for the minced fish steamed in banana leaves, its very delicious. The fish curry is soft and sweet like a cake. The oily taste of coconut milk is delicious. I would say that this is the most delicious menu of Phang Nga province.
I had the opportunity to eat at Pa Kiew restaurant many times. The restaurant serves a la carte , but I prefer the southern curry rice, where you pick your own vegetables and scoop your own shrimp paste (Nam Prik Gapi). I tried the spicy pork curry and fish entrail curry with squash and potatoes. The southern fish entrails were rich and delicious.
The shop is located on Phetkasem Road. Phang Nga town is not that big. Just open GPS and you will find a delicious southern curry shop that I have tried and written about before.
